The Himalayan Mountains stretch across Asia into China, Nepal, Myanmar, Pakistan, Bhutan, Afghanistan and India. The salt from these mountains are thought to be the purest in the world due to the fact that, more than 200 million years ago crystallized sea beds were covered by lava and then later by snow and ice for a millennia, preserved and protected from pollution.
Himalayan Salt contains 84 different minerals: iron, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, potassium and chloride to name a few; all of these are necessary for healthy bodily function.

These agents keep the salt from dissolving or clumping together, but they also prevent the salt from being absorbed by our bodies. Eventually this unabsorbed salt will deposit in the body's organs leading to more serious health problems.
A Great Morning Elixir
Right after you wake up: brush your teeth and tongue thoroughly, squeeze one lemon and/or lime into a mug, add one tsp of Pink Himalayan Salt and warm water; it will jump start the body's detoxification process and aid in hydration throughout the day. Drink Up!
