Health is a Choice
What’s wrong with our health care system?
I recently overheard that Dr. Oz’s colleagues want to have him removed from a board that he sits on.
WHY?
Because he has a talk show that addresses health issues and ways to prevent these conditions BEFORE a patient would need to consult one of his colleagues.
So who is responsible for our health? Is it ourselves or our doctors?
If it is MY body then I want to take the initiative to take care of it.
Life is all about choices, exercise or be a couch potato. Eat food that just fills me up or eat food that gives my body the nutrition that it needs to function. Surround myself with happy and motivated people or hang out with negative, caustic people and/or situations that drain me.
If you don’t brush our teeth are you surprised when they rot and fall out?
Then why be surprised when you eat packaged, processed foods that can later lead to developing diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, becoming overweight or obese.
If you don’t move your body are you surprised of the wasting and weakening of the body and its related issues?
We have many choices in our lives.
How do you want to live your life?
Are you going to step up to the plate and take responsibility for your health, or are you going to wait until a disease ravages your body and then rely on your doctor to try and fix it?
